Course Level Advanced

The Advanced Leaping/Running Hare course is designed for advanced students who are looking to move away from following tutorials and create their own work. 

Skills Taught

During this three-day course, you will learn how to create the illusion of movement with positioning and posing, attach your sculpture to a base, and apply finishing techniques and embellishments. In addition, you will gain practical design considerations and mixed media options for finishing.

Prerequisites 

To ensure that you get the most out of the course, pre-course work will be required. This will be delivered through one-to-one planning and video tutorials, allowing you to come to the course well-prepared and ready to dive into the creative bits.

It is essential that you have a moderate level of needle felting experience and have completed at least one advanced 5* course or equivalent.

• One Double Room - single occupancy
• One Shared Room - book together price is for both
• Camping Facilities - basic field, loos and water
• Campervan Park-Up in the field weather permitting or in the yard - use the house facilities!

Refeshments through the day plus a light lunch is included in the course cost.

Materials

Most materials will be provided, but you will need to bring your own object for the mount, and preparatory sculpture.
